House Of God Tabernacle was established in April 2012 by Pastor Tommie and Lady Valencia Bailey.

The church opened its doors with only four charter members. The church has continued to grow over the years and has been a blessing to the community and surrounding counties. Pastor and Lady Bailey have given their lives to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by preaching and teaching the Word of God, to inspire men and women to know and love God the Father and His Son Jesus and to love one another.

​The church has several ministries that enriches the lives of God's people. Pastor and Lady Bailey had a desire to help our brothers and sisters in the community that were having difficulties with life challenges. Along with the church members they opened Good Samaritan, Incorporation in November, 2014. Good Samaritan, Inc is a Nonprofit 501 (c) (3) that provides food and clothing to the less fortunate in the county.
